What does a luxury travel designer actually do?

A luxury travel designer does something very different from a traditional travel agent or online booking platform. I don’t search for deals or package tours. I listen to who you are, what you love, and what you want to feel — and then I build a journey around that from scratch.

That means hand-selecting every hotel, every guide, every experience, every transfer. It means knowing which suite has the best view, which restaurant requires a connection to get into, and which moments will stay with you long after you’re home.

Think of it as the difference between buying a suit off the rack and having one made for you. Same category. Completely different result.

Online booking gives you options. I give you the right choice — and then I make it better.

For most luxury journeys, I’d recommend starting the conversation at least 3 to 6 months in advance. For peak seasons, private charters, exclusive safari camps, or highly sought-after properties, 9 to 12 months is ideal.

That said — if you have something more immediate in mind, reach out anyway. My network often makes things possible that standard booking channels can’t.
